Four years old...our little girl is four years old. Since this is the length of a standard bachelor's degree, I would like to think that I have now earned my degree in Violet. What have we learned in the last four years? This girl is just.like.mama. She is a mama's girl through and through! She is my kindred spirit and I love her so much.
Violet started preschool (afternoon for 2.5 hours, four days a week) this past fall. She has flourished in her penmanship, social awareness, and observation. She is so excited for school each day. Violet asks so many questions, and it is very rare that she isn't talking, humming, singing, or making some sort of noise.

She is a wonderful big sister, usually helping mommy in some way with the younger two. She loves being mommy's assistant, and I love that she is getting old enough to actually be a real help! She enjoys a craft of any kind, helping mommy cook, surprising me by picking up the play room or living room, blind bags, playgrounds, and really any type of errand.
As we enter this new year, we pray that Violet's heart will be soft towards obedience and kindness, and we ask daily that the Lord will bring her to himself at a young age. Oh how thankful we are to call this beautiful girl ours.
