9 months old! Juliet is growing so fast and quite honestly, she gets cuter by the day. This month has been so much fun as she learns new things. She is now crawling and pulling herself up onto anything she can - the couch, chairs, activity table, etc. She is an all-star eater, and will try anything I give her. Currently, her favorites are veggie straws and green beans. Since she still refuses a bottle, we are nursing full time, but she gets water and watered-down juice in a sippy cup. Still quite enthralled with big sister Violet, she loves watching her, giggling at her, and admiring anything she does. Girlfriend still doesn't sleep through the night, which is a little perplexing and tiring for mama, but I know it won't last forever and she is just so easy to love and care for.
This month was our annual family trip to OBX. Both Violet and Juliet enjoyed being with most of their cousins and being held and coddled. They both love the water. Juliet tried to eat sand several times, but overall it went well! The 11 hour drive wasn't nearly as bad as we had imagined it would be! It was great to experience it together as a family and watch our girls take it all in and make memories with them.
I know every parent thinks this, but this baby is just so gorgeous! Her smile lights up her entire face and just shines with joy. I love this little ray of sunshine and feel so blessed to be her mama!
