Somehow, I blinked and my baby girl is 6 months old! What a ride it has been. The biggest, most earth-shattering development of this month is that as of this past weekend, VIOLET SLEEPS THROUGH THE NIGHT. It is most certainly a life-changer for me, and has improved her demeanor tremendously. I am so very proud of her for achieving this huge goal. Tim and I get to make and eat dinner together now, without a baby whining in my lap or in the high chair. My own attitude and demeanor has improved as well. I am not nearly as frazzled, flustered, or frustrated! I have time to do things! What a huge blessing for us, thank you, Lord!
In other news, we are closing on her "together" home in less than a month. So this sleeping thing came at the perfect time so I can pack and organize in peace! When Tim and I got married, he rented out his home and moved into mine. Now, we will rent out mine as well. I'm so excited to have a home with a little more room and start making memories in this new phase. It will be fun for me to have a new place to decorate, too! I've lived in my home for almost 10 years, so had pretty much exhausted all decorating ideas.
I love her face in this one. Onesie from Auntie Liz!
