Scarlet Hope at Seven Months

Scarlet is 7 months old! She is truly the most joyful baby. Her smiles light up every corner of our hearts. She is VERY interested in eating this month. She started with baby food, but quickly decided she didn't like it and started just not opening her mouth for spoons coming at her. So we decided to give her table food, which she has really loved. Her favorites seem to be veggie straws, green beans, and mushrooms so far. It's so fun watching her discover eating. She has never taken a bottle, but she is taking the sippy cup quite well. She gets water with every meal.

Scarlet is still loving bouncing around in her activity seat and jumper. She is usually content to just watch whatever is happening in the room. Her sisters provide her with the ultimate entertainment. She enjoyed her first Thanksgiving with family this month. We are so looking forward to her first holiday season! This little girl is such a beautiful dream. We love her so.

Scarlet Hope at Six Months

Our sweet Scarlet is 6 months old! A half year has passed in what feels like the blink of an eye. This month has been so fun. She is very loud and loves to "sing" and talk to her sisters. A new "scrunchy nose" smile has started that absolutely melts us every time. She hasn't yet tried to crawl, but she loves rolling around the floor and can certainly move from spot to spot rather quickly. Anything she can get her hands on goes directly into her mouth. She loves noisy toys that crunch, crinkle, or squeak. We love her so much and can't wait to see how her personality continues to develop!

Scarlet Hope at Five Months

Scarlet is five months old! This month she has become so much more interested in the happenings of the household, as well as happier bouncing and playing/discovering. She loves her Baby Einstein activity jumper. It's so cute to her the toys bouncing as she giggles. She is fairly predictable, only really gets upset when she is tired or hungry. The girls still adore her and Violet has a special voice that she only uses with Scarlet (very high pitched and sweet). Juliet still constantly wants to kiss/hug her. I hope this bond will continue to grow through the years.

Juliet Elise at Two Years

Even though Juliet has been acting like she's been two for a few months now, she is an official two year old as of 9/15! This girl is full of energy, smiles, and cuddles. She can turn a switch and become a total bear, though. But really, isn't that a trait a lot of us women obtain? :-)

Juliet can count to 20, knows her colors, and sings her ABCs. Her vocabulary expands daily as she listens to Violet and I converse. She is such a cuddler, always loves to be held, and she really enjoys making people laugh. Her jumping, which looks  more like a skip, is the cutest ever. She loves to dance and tries to sing. 

 We love our sweet girl and her unique personality. She is definitely our little love bug. Happy second birthday, baby J!
